The area surrounding the Mac Leod Tourist Complex situated at Inverness, Broad Cove and Dunvegan are blessed by a masterpiece of wind, surf and color. As the hills sink into the Gulf they explode into a mirage of foliage, sand and undulating land formations. A profusion of activities, ceilidhs and rousing Scottish music are mixed with the melody of the pipes and the history of the transplanted Celt in New Scotland. Our history is evident at Broad Cove at the annual Broad Cove Scottish Concert, a cornucopia of Scottish talent amid friendly people rich in music and lore.
There is something for everyone in the village of Inverness by the sea: sun bathing, swimming, golfing, hiking, visiting local stores, galleries, museums and partaking in a ceilidh. We are your destination while visiting Cape Breton and the wonders at our doorstep. Enjoy our people, their life style and friendly nature. Failte!

This is a level, coastal trail, and is the extension of Sight Point Rd toward Mabou. The trail begins as a continuation of the road and follows the coast. At 0.2 km the Sight Point Trail departs left. From 3.0 km on several rockslides cross the old road. These are crossed at your own risk and with extreme caution. The trail ends on a back road to MacKinnon Brook. Turn left for Maclsaac Glen Trail (1.5 km) and Mabou (11 km)
